Meet Kimberly & Jim

Hey! I’m Kimberly…co-founder of Always Welcome Homes. My husband, Jim, and I launched our short term rental biz in 2022 and absolutely LOVE hosting our guests!

But that's work. Here's a little about us:

Born In: 1966 (Yup...we're GenX, Baby!)
I’m Obsessed With: Coffee, my Jeep Wrangler, and Jesus. Jim loves spending time in his workshop, and working outdoors.
I Spend Too Much Time: Reading (said no one ever!)
Kids: All grown. Jim has 3 boys, I have one of each...but my daughter passed away unexpectedly in 2024. So now we are "parents again" to her 3 girls (ages 13, 11, and 4.) We officially adopted Our Girls Dec2025. <3
Pets: Delilah (16 yo Chihuahua). Sonny D (orange tabby). Shadow (black cat). Freckles & Nibbles (rabbits)
What Makes Our Home Unique: Jim & I love to handcraft & repurpose stuff we find at auctions, antique shops, and thrift stores.
Fun Fact: I've been on Air Force One a few times (back in my airline/flight attendant days)
Where We've Travelled: Jim has done a lot of international travel for work as an engineer (Europe, Australia, Turkey). As a former semi-truck driver & flight attendant, I've driven in every state in the US, and been to Europe and Mexico numerous times. We discovered cruising a couple years ago and are taking all our kids/grands on a family cruise JUN2026.
